What’s New & Improved?

This release focuses on Specification Manager with a more intuitive Applies To section, clearer configuration naming, and a new way to securely share reports without requiring portal access. Behind the scenes, we’ve also carried out technical maintenance to keep the platform stable, secure and performant.

Specification Manager Updates and Improvements

  • Refreshed “Applies To” Section
    The Applies To section in Specification Manager has been redesigned for a more intuitive and user-friendly experience. It’s now easier to see and understand where a specification applies, helping you manage specifications with more confidence and less effort.
  • Specification Settings – Planning Renamed
    The Planning area in Specification Settings has been renamed to better reflect its purpose. This makes configuration options clearer, so you can more easily find and manage the settings you need.
  • Report Sharing via Secure Links
    You can now generate a secure link to share reports with others:
    • Anyone with the link can view the report PDFNo QC One Portal login is requiredLinks automatically expire after 2 weeks for added security
    This makes it easier to share results with customers, colleagues or external stakeholders while maintaining control over access.

General updates and improvements

  • Platform Improvements (Technical Maintenance)
    We’ve implemented several platform-level maintenance updates to improve stability, performance and security. These changes are mostly behind the scenes but contribute to a smoother and more reliable experience in the QC One Portal.
