🚀 QC One App: Release 20.14.0

  • Version: 20.14.0
  • Platforms: App (iOS & Android)
  • Distribution: Cloud

What’s New & Improved

OneThird Integration: Automated BRIX Averaging

We have further optimized the OneThird measurement flow to save time and reduce manual data entry.

  • Automated Calculation: The app now automatically parses individual BRIX results returned from OneThird, calculates the average, and stores it in a dedicated technical parameter.
  • Seamless Reporting: This average is automatically linked to your existing BRIX parameters, ensuring the data is immediately visible in the portal, PDF reports, and BI dashboards without any configuration changes on your side.

Other / General Improvements

Data Management Optimization (Preserve Referenced Data)
We have introduced a smarter cache management system to protect your work during workplace transitions.

  • What you’ll notice: When switching between licensees or workplaces, the app now intelligently preserves referenced data, including images from unsynced inspections.
  • Why it matters: This prevents critical data loss and sync errors, allowing you to switch contexts freely without worrying about losing captured photos or inspection details.

Enhanced Visual Feedback (Loading States)
To improve the experience on a wider range of hardware, we’ve added clearer feedback during the finalization process.

  • What you’ll notice: A loading spinner now appears when you tap “Finish Inspection.”
  • Why it matters: This prevents confusion on slower devices by clearly indicating that background logic is processing, effectively stopping accidental double-clicks.

Refined Selection Mode UX
We’ve improved the “Finish Units” workflow within SM inspections to make the interface more predictable.

  • What you’ll notice: Redundant buttons are now disabled while you are in “Selection Mode,” keeping the focus entirely on the active action bar.

Bug Fixes

Inbox & UI Consistency

  • Green Highlight for SM: Finished SM inspections are now correctly colored green in the Inbox, providing visual parity with legacy inspections and making it easier to see completed work at a glance.
  • Column Selection: Resolved a UI bug where the “Trace/Lot” field was duplicated in the “Edit Columns” modal.

Tablet & Android Specific Fixes

Tablet Visibility: Fixed a layout issue on tablets where “Important Parameters” were sometimes hidden or cut off at the bottom of the screen.

Android Image Persistence: Resolved a bug where image blocks could disappear from unfinished SM inspections following a sync.
