QC One Inspector App 20.11.0 is released, including an important sync-optimization.



In this week’s release update, we are introducing improvements for the QC One Inspector App (20.11.0) focused on making syncing more reliable, improving usability, and making it easier to work with parameters and inspections.

What’s New & Improved

Sync & Data Integrity

  • Improved sync process
    The app now only updates your data after everything has been fully downloaded and checked. This means you won’t lose or mix up information if your internet connection drops during syncing, making your data safer and more reliable.
  • Bug fixes for deleted units and remarks
    • Units you create will no longer disappear after syncing.
    • Remarks you enter will always be saved in the correct place, so your notes and findings stay accurate.

Specification Manager Inspections

  • Shipment details now saved correctly
    When you create a new inspection, shipment details will now always be saved and shown in your reports. This ensures all relevant information is available for review and reporting.

UI & Usability

  • Smoother typing in unit fields
    Entering information in unit fields, especially on iPad, is now more responsive and reliable. This makes data entry faster and less frustrating.
  • Clearer icons for parameters
    Single select and multi select options now have different icons, making it easier to tell them apart when building or reviewing specifications.
  • Barcode scanner button removed from remarks
    The barcode scanner button is now disabled for remarks, so there’s no confusion about where it can be used. This helps keep the interface clean and intuitive.

No action is required on your part. The update will be available automatically as part of our phased rollout. Simply update your app when prompted to enjoy the latest features.
