Improved Token Security & Expiry Notifications
We’re excited to inform you that our next release will include an important improvement to the notifications of the way our system handles authentication and data security.
What’s changing?
To keep your data safe and guarantee secure communication between the mobile app and the portal, our system uses a security token that remains valid for 30 days. Previously, sessions would simply expire after this period, requiring you to log in again without prior notice.
What will now happen before the expiration date?
With the new update, you will now receive clear in-app notifications reminding you when your session is about to expire. This ensures you always stay informed and never experience unexpected interruptions.
What will now happens on the expiration date?
- On the exact day your session expires, the app will log you out automatically.
- Before logging you out, the app will perform a synchronization, making sure all your inspection data is safely stored in the portal.
- After logging in again, all your data will be available and synced back into the app as usual.
Why this improvement?
Why? In the past, some users experienced issues with automatically being logged out without notice for security reasons. To prevent this from happening while staying secure, we’ve enhanced our system with smart in-app notifications. This update enhances security while ensuring a smoother user experience.
You’ll always know when your session is approaching expiration, and you can plan accordingly—without worrying about data loss or unexpected behaviour.
What do you need to do?
Nothing. The feature will be included automatically in the upcoming release. Just make sure you update your app when the new version becomes available.
