Specification Manager Updates and Improvements

  • New conclusion methods and improved score calculations
We have introduced additional conclusion methods in the Specification Manager, allowing you to define and apply more nuanced rules for how results are calculated and displayed. This means you can now tailor the way conclusions are drawn from your inspection data, supporting more complex business logic and reporting needs. The score calculation logic has also been enhanced to provide more accurate and transparent results.
Read more about this in our support article.
  • Organisation filter for better data segmentation
You can now filter your specifications and inspections by organisation. This makes it easier to manage data for multiple entities within your account, ensuring that users only see the information relevant to their organisation. This is especially useful for companies with multiple subsidiaries or locations.
  • Bulk creation of Specification Manager inspections via Excel import
To save time and reduce manual entry, you can now import multiple inspections into the Specification Manager using an Excel template. This feature is ideal for onboarding large datasets or migrating from other systems, and helps ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Legacy products navigation option
For customers who have transitioned to the Specification Manager (or only ever used it), there is now an option to hide legacy products from the navigation menu. This declutters the interface and helps users focus on the tools and data that matter most to them. If you’d like to enable this option, please contact our support team for assistance.
  • Distinct icons for single select and multi select parameters
To improve clarity and usability, single select and multi select parameters now have different icons throughout the Specification Manager module. This visual distinction makes it easier for users to quickly identify parameter types when building or reviewing specifications, reducing the risk of errors.
  • Optimized image library component
The image library within the Specification Manager has been optimized for better performance and reliability. You may notice faster loading times and smoother interactions when adding or viewing images, as well as some minor visual improvements to the component’s layout.

General updates and improvements

  • API update fix for organisation country field
We have resolved an issue where updating organisations via the API (using a PUT request) would inadvertently remove the country (“land”) field from the organisation’s data. With this fix, the country information is now retained after updates, ensuring data integrity for integrations and reporting. (This applies to JSON-based API usage.)
  • Notifications off by default for new users
To help reduce notification overload, newly added users will now have notifications turned off by default. This allows users to opt in to the notifications that are most relevant to them, resulting in a cleaner and more focused experience from the start.
