This release brings a series of improvements and fixes to the QC One Portal, with a strong focus on professionalizing the Specification Manager PDF reports, refining administrative controls, and ensuring reliable report publishing.

Specification Manager improvements

Redesigned PDF Reports

  • Professional Branding: Reports now include licensee logos, ensuring your documentation is always on-brand when shared with external partners.
  • Standardized Formatting: We have implemented standardized font styles and improved table layouts (gray headers with white body rows) for better readability.
  • Clearer Documentation: Added “No images attached” placeholders to ensure that missing photos are clearly identified rather than leaving empty gaps in the report.

Refined Role-Based Permissions

  • Administrative Control: We have corrected a permission issue to ensure that only users with the Administrator role can create products and categories. This prevents accidental changes to your library structure by users with ‘Manager’ roles.

Other/General Improvements

Hotfix: Reliable Report Publishing

  • Auto-Publish Fix: Resolved a background conflict that occasionally prevented reports from auto-publishing or left them stuck in the “Waiting for QC” status.
  • Improved Status Transitions: Updates to our internal service ensure that once an inspection is finished, it moves through the publishing workflow without manual intervention.
