We are excited to announce the release of QC One Portal version 5.3.0, which will be released on June 16, 2026.

This release takes the first steps toward a scalable, self-service Specification Manager by introducing reusable templates and customer-managed remarks.

What’s New & Improved?

  • Templates (Beta) – Create reusable templates for specification content that is frequently repeated. This helps reduce manual work and improves consistency across specifications.
  • Remarks (Beta) – Create and manage your own remarks directly within your environment, without needing support from the QC One team. Legacy remarks can also be converted to the new remark format.
  • Extended Report Email Configuration – Additional options are available for configuring report email data. Please contact the QC One team if you would like to learn more about these options.
  • Hide Empty Sections in Reports – Specification sections without data can now be hidden in Specification Manager reports. This is available as a license-level setting. Contact the QC One team for more information.Redesigned PDF ReportsProfessional Branding: Reports now include licensee logos, ensuring your documentation is always on-brand when shared with external partners.

  • Parameter block remarks are no longer displayed in Specification Manager reports.
  • Navigation menu dropdowns have been refreshed with a more modern look and feel.

  • Fixed an issue with the search functionality for conclusion methods.
  • Added missing shipment details to Specification Manager reports.
